Five Super Healthy Mocktails to Celebrate National Wellness Month

National Wellness Month is upon us, so why not toast your health with refreshing mocktails packed with nutrients?

Michelle Harris is a lifestyle expert and host of Alive & Well. This TV series promotes a healthy lifestyle. Natalie Portman, as well as Brad Pitt are also alcohol-free. Dorit of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills owns her line of alcohol-free bubbly called La Sauce Cuvee Zero.

Harris takes the alcohol-free craze to the next level by making them nutritious. She says she has added powerful antioxidants such as Sambucol Black Elderberry juice to many mocktail recipes to support a healthy immune response. They take any drink to the next level by using healthy fruits, natural sweeteners, and nutritious add-ons.

You get a shot of vitamin in your National Wellness Month toast. It’s so appropriate! How healthy!

Five Super Healthy Mocktails for National Wellness Month

This drink is great for making by the pitcher or glass and is one that the whole family will enjoy. The kids won’t even know it is full of nutrition and fresh fruit!


Pre-freeze ice cubes containing blueberries and fresh mint.

Let the hibiscus Raspberry Tea cool overnight.

Serve blueberry mint ice cubes.

Orange Pomegranate Black Elderberry-tini

This is a healthy and fresh way to enjoy a martini.


Sprinkle sugar or edible golden sugar on the rim

Mix in a shaker and add ice. Pour into a glass using a strainer

2 tsp Sambucol Black Elderberry syrup

Black Elderberry Vanilla Cream Soda


2 tsp Sambucol Black Elderberry syrup

1 natural vanilla cream soda

One scoop of non-dairy cream (Harris recommends cashew ice cream).

Serve with non-dairy whipped topping.

Iced golden late

Iced golden latte can be a great alternative to regular iced coffee. This creamy delight is made with almond milk or oat milk, cinnamon, ginger, and the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric. This iced golden latté is popular, especially when served over ice during warmer months.


Make and chill the turmeric tea

To taste, add cinnamon and ginger

Half tea, half almond or half oat milk can be combined

1oz Alcohol-Free Almond Liquor (Lyre’s Amaretti Non-Alcohol Spirit).

Sweeten to your liking

Serve chilled or over ice

Black Elderberry Wellness Shoot

Who doesn’t love a good shot? The best thing about shots is that they are good for you. Harris says that the Black Elderberry Wellness Shot is the perfect pick-me-up for any hour of the day.


Combine equal parts

pineapple juice (for digestive enzymes)

lemon juice (for detoxification)

1 TBS Sambucol Black Elderberry syrup.

Harris says: “Glasp or add fresh fruit, edible flowers, or herbs to these healthy cocktails. They look amazing and add an even greater nutritional boost!” These look great and provide an additional nutritional boost!
